It’s also the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of 2012 and create your own adventure. Nestled in oodles of woodland and snuggled beside marvellous pongy marshes is a world of Boggles and Twiggles, born from the imaginative children’s books of local author Tom Blofeld. Stories are important, that’s why there’s several storytelling sessions a day (weather permitting of course!) Plus, new for this year is Twiggle Twirling and Boggle Bouncing, where kids can really let their imagination go berserk! That’s not all...this year the park has some stupendously good new events which encourage children (and big kids too!) to be super silly, dress up, bounce, build, create, parade and prance!

NEW! Come and help create Minty’s Whizzy Windmill Garden on 5^th and 7^th May. Minty is BeWILDerwood’s littlest Crocklebog and she loves beautiful flowers and whizzy, spinny, whirry things. So what better way to have fun than by making whizzy windmill flowers to plant in her garden or even your own garden at home? 

NEW! If you’re a master den builder, then Twiggle Turrets and Grubble Grottos on 2^nd – 10^th June is for you! Make your own miniature house and help us build a teeny village to house your creations! In honour of the travelling Grubbles we’ll have a special procession at 3pm* which will really bring the mini village to life before your very eyes! 

Dare your dad to follow in Swampy’s footstepson BeWILDerDad’s Day on 17^th June. We think dads are so super we’re letting them in for FREE! You can treat yours to a smashing homemade card before showing him how creative you are by writing him a message on the BeWILDerdad’s Wall for all to see.

NEW! Mildred’s Musical Puppet Parade from 23^rd - 28^th July  is the greatest parade in the whole of BeWILDerwood. Come down to the woods and make your own leafy Twiggle crown, dress up and marvel at the pre-parade puppet pantomime. Then Mildred will be hosting our musical procession of puppets with Twiggle dancing and Boggle bouncing. Wacky costumes and marvellous musical instruments will be provided. Just bounce on over!

NEW! The Curious Crocklebog Capers on 25^th – 27^th August  is a unique celebration of all things Crocklebog. Brave the mighty Crockleclock Challenge, follow Mildred’s Butterfly Bumble or make a spandankly handbag or tiara! There’s a chance to get crafty and decorate some authentic Crocklebog attire in glorious glitter and super sparkly bits. You can even follow the Butterfly Bumble trail to help Mildred spot all the butterflies and win a prize. Phew! What an action packed day out!
