Don't Miss Out

It’s going to be a busy month with Valentine’s Day and Half Term all coming at the same time!

Keeping things in perspective and a little bit of planning is all that is needed to keep the family ticking along nicely. Valentine’s Day can get lost in the general flurry of family life, remember to spoil your partner on this special day. If you have a good solid relationship or marriage don’t let it become a statistic of coping with the stress and strain of a young family, make sure you allow some time for your relationship see our Don’t Forget the Date article which may give you some tips on finding time for each other in between the ballet recitals, school runs and cello lessons!
World Book Day falls on the 1st March and we have dedicated many of our pages to books from Imagine Children’s Festival to encouraging a reluctant reader. Books are so important to our children’s development and many hours spent reading with our children will not only further their knowledge and understanding but also form a deep bond between you both!

The wonderful thing about our job is that we find out about so many exciting children’s productions, fun events and uncover so many interesting and very often free resources for parents and families to use or visit. The not so wonderful part is deciding which ones we have to leave out – however the intention is to find out and share everything we possibly can. Bringing up a family is hard work and can be stressful however as parents we shouldn’t lose touch with the constant wonderment of the world seen  through the innocent eyes of our children. We can make a huge difference to our children’s lives and we should be enjoying our time with them before they fly the nest and leave us wondering where they have gone and how quickly the time passed!
