Keeping your child’s books tidy, but available, can be a challenge!
It’s always been a challenge in our house to keep books tidy. We are all paid up members of the book worm society and parting with any book is never an option. So consequently four children later we have our own small library. However it is important that books are available for our children to read and the wonderfully bright colours and interesting covers are all part of the magic that entices a child into a book! It is for this reason that we, as a family loved the Tidy-Books range of book shelves and book tidy boxes.
We weren’t surprised to find out that the founder of the company was a mum herself, who had searched high and low for a book shelf that was practical and compact, allowing her daughter to use it independently while showing the front covers of her books!
After all isn’t the concept of a traditional bookshelf rather missing the point, as far as a child is concerned. Children don’t choose a book from the spine but from the cover. Added to that the fact that children’s books are generally outsized and of different shapes, thus being harder to keep tidy!
