Show them the way to go home. Frogs and toads return to the same that they were born in so if you have a pond and have had frogs or toads laying eggs in it before, make sure the frogs and toads are safe to return to it. Before any frogs or toads return to your garden pond make sure there is a nice slope of stones or small rocks for them to be able to get in and out of the pond safely. Adult frogs have smooth skin and toads have a rough warty skin. Frogs and toads usually lay their eggs in March but if the weather is warm they may begin in late February. It is easy to tell frogs eggs from toads eggs, fromgs eggs are found in tight clumps usually attached to pond vegetation while toad eggs are attached together in long strings.
